A Ceremony to Honor WWII Veteran Abode Hospice and Home Health of Pueblo had the great privilege of partnering with the Château at Sharmar and the Non-Commissioned Officers Association to honor our patient and World War II Veteran, Ernest Romero, with an honor and remembrance medallion called “The Legacy.”   WWII Veteran Mr. Romero was one of nine seniors at Central High School who enlisted in the United States Navy in January of 1944. While every veteran has different needs, those with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) face unique challenges.
